Tertiary rhinoplasty is a complex repeat operation performed in cases where the desired result was not achieved even after several previous operations. The goal is to correct aesthetic and medical defects that arose after previous operations. This operation can be more complex than secondary rhinoplasty. The reasons for this: the appearance of scar tissue; changes in the anatomy of the cartilage and bone structures of the nose; damage or change of structures as a result of previous operations; the need for another rehabilitation period for the patient. Tertiary rhinoplasty is presented as one of the most complex operations in plastic surgery. This can be caused by previous surgical errors, failure to follow rehabilitation recommendations, postoperative complications or mechanical damage to the nose.
